About Me

I have interests in environmental and molecular biochemistry, specifically the biochemistry of heat shock protein 47 (HSP47), biorenewable energy, and biodegradation of pollutants. My laboratory also characterises industrially-relevant microbiomes using metagenomics methods.

Past Positions
1. Post-doctoral visiting scientist, Swarup Lab (https://smbl.nus.edu.sg/index.html), part of the NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI), National University of Singapore. Duration:  January 2019-January 2021.
