Malaysia Technology Expo 2018, GOLD MEDAL
SEER-SteelRub is the innovation of construction materials from used tire waste and industrial waste to be used in moderate earthquake areas initiated by research group from the Faculty of Civil Engineering led by Dr Mariyana Aida Ab Kadir. The product has won Gold in the 17th MalaysiaTechnology Expo (MTE) competition themed Asia’s Inventions and Innovations Marketplace on 22-24 February 2018 at PWTC Kuala Lumpur. In the competition, a total of 9 products from UTM have been contested. The 17th MTE has attended more than 500 products from all IPTA, IPS and government departments in Malaysia.
