These study include five different common threads profile of implant body \u2013 buttress, reverse buttress, V-shape, sinusoidal and square \u2013 that were evaluated via finite element analysis. Three dimensional model of a mandible was reconstructed from CT dataset and a region of interest was selected at the left side around the first molar.
