Self Leadership
Knowing Yourself
Before joining UTM as an academician, I spent five years as an engineer in the manufacturing industry. This experience underscored the crucial role of engineering knowledge for thriving in the professional world. I am firmly convinced that university education must effectively prepare students for their transition into the industry, which is often their primary destination after graduation.
To bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application, I am dedicated to equipping my students with the essential skills and knowledge they need. This involves comprehensive training, sharing industry experiences, and aligning the curriculum with current industry standards. My goal is to ensure that students are well-prepared to excel in their future careers.
I strive to help students become “Premium-Earning Graduates” by cultivating a blend of advanced skills, critical thinking, and professional competencies. This approach is designed to set them apart in the job market and enhance their success in their chosen fields.
