\"\"<\/a>Akmaliza Abdullah <\/strong>received her B.A. in Usuluddin\u00a0 with first class honours from University of Malaya and\u00a0 an M.A. in Islamic Civilization from the\u00a0 International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC), IIUM. Her Master thesis is on Biographical Dictionaries: Sources of Eminent Women in the Islamic History with Special Reference to\u00a0 Tarikh Baghdad and Tarikh Madinat Dimashq <\/em>under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mehmet Ipsirli. Later, she attended\u00a0 Institute of Malay World and Civilization, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia to undertake her doctoral degree and completed her thesis entitled Nature in the Malay Worldview based on the Literary Works of Raja Ali Haji<\/em> under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Samian.\u00a0 Currently, she is a senior lecturer at the Academy\u00a0 of Islamic Civilization,\u00a0 Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor.<\/p>\n

She is a member of Persatuan Sejarah Malaysia Cawangan Negeri Johor.\u00a0 Her research interests include Islamic Civilization, Malay World and Civilization, women studies and Islamic tourism.<\/p>\n
