Trust me, it would not be called as such if it is not for\u00a0 a whole lot\u00a0 of islands it possesses.\u00a0 With more than 17,000 islands, definitely to those who love nature\u00a0 will be amazed by what is in store for them.\u00a0 A beautiful paradise on earth. A bountiful eye candy nature galore amidst the different shades of blue sea.<\/p>\n<p>Within the thousands of islands, there is a tiny island located in the Province of Riau Islands.\u00a0 The island is called Pulau Penyengat. It keeps a romantic\u00a0 love story of a Sultan who granted the island to his consort Engku Puteri\u00a0 as a <em>mahr<\/em> (dowry).\u00a0 Pulau Penyengat is a witness\u00a0 to the great Malay Civilization in the 18th &amp; 19th century.
