Aiman Mohd Rashid, PhD

Aiman graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) JB in 2008 with a Diploma and Degree in Architecture (LAM Part I & II) and has since practised as an architectural designer in Singapore, Malaysia and Oman. His project portfolio includes private residences, institutions, industrial facilities and 5-star hotel complexes.

He pursued his MSc in Sustainable Architecture Studies before completing his PhD in Sheffield School of Architecture at the University of Sheffield, UK and has taught design studios at Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield School of Architecture. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Programme of Architecture, UTM JB and holds the position as Deputy Director for Makmal Satelit Forensik Geospatial (MSFG) UTM-PDRM as well as Lead Curator for Galeri FABU at the Faculty of Built Environment and Survey at UTM, JB. His interests are in mixed reality and digital architecture, intangible cultural heritage and sustainable design on building lifecycle.
