Arief Ruhullah Harris is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), where he specializes in neural engineering, biomedical signal processing, and medical electronics. His research focuses on developing advanced signal processing algorithms for EEG, ECG, and auditory brainstem responses, as well as exploring applications of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and brain-computer interface (BCI) systems. He has published numerous studies on arrhythmia detection, nonlinear ECG analysis, and wavelet-based EEG methods, and has collaborated internationally with researchers in fields such as cognitive neuroscience and assistive technology.
