The Honda CR-Z facelift has been launched in Indonesia by PT Honda Prospect Motor. Announced in August last year, this is actually the second facelift for the sports hybrid coupe – the first facelift made its world debut at the 2012 Indonesian International Motor Show (IIMS) and was launched in Malaysia in early 2013.
The latest CR-Z in Indonesia is as seen in Japan, and is pretty well equipped. There’s keyless entry with push start button, HDMI and two USB ports, new design LED headlamps (plus LED DRLs and signal lamps) and a multi-view parking camera with new 2-DIN touchscreen head unit.
Of course, there’s also an electronic parking brake between the front seats – the biggest change to the cabin also frees up space for a centre console bin and armrest. The stitching for the seats/steering wheel/gear knob, seat inserts and door cards are in orange. The outgoing car had red stitching and maroon inserts.

Outside, the 2015 facelift brings a revised nose and front bumper, along with the above-mentioned new LED headlamps. New two-tone blade-style 17-inch rims are present, along with a chunky new rear bumper with a diffuser design that mimics the front lip. The new front and rear look is curvier compared to the outgoing ZF2.
No change to the 1.5 litre i-VTEC and Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) combination, which produces a combined 136 PS and 190 Nm of torque (12 PS/16 Nm more than the original CR-Z). The electric motor is powered by a 144-volt, 18.8 kW lithium-ion battery. No six-speed manual for the Indonesian market, which only gets the CVT with paddle shifters.
Available in four colours – Milano Red, Premium White Pearl, Hellios Yellow Pearl II and Smart Black – the CR-Z facelift is priced at Rp 535 juta (RM167,660) OTR in Indonesia.
