Shaw wants Spurs move
Luke Shaw wants Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino to end his Manchester United nightmare, according to the Sun. The left-back was once again subject to public criticism from manager Jose Mourinho on the weekend, and reports suggest Shaw is keen to sign for Spurs should the north London club lose Danny Rose to United.
Paper Round’s view: It’s a move which would work perfectly for Shaw, but only of course if Rose heads north to Manchester. Spurs face a battle to hold onto both Rose and Kyle Walker this summer, and will be reluctant to lose either full-back with the Pochettino revolution in full swing. Shaw would be a more than capable replacement, and he will surely be back to his best in six months – be it in red or white.

Sanchez makes Chelsea number one choice
Alexis Sanchez has set his sights on joining Chelsea this summer. The Chilean faces a problem however – the Telegraph reports – and that’s getting Arsenal to sanction the move. The paper claims Chelsea will look to bring PSG and Juventus target Sanchez to Stamford Bridge once the season is over, as well as recapturing Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
Paper Round’s view: Another day, another take on Sanchez’s future. The Telegraph have taken Sanchez’s comments on wanting to be at a London club with a winning mentality and seen that as concrete proof that it must be Chelsea. Any truth in it? Who can really say but for Sanchez himself. Once Arsene Wenger’s future is known, one can imagine the fate of Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will soon be sealed – for better or for worse.

Keane to spark summer bidding war
Michael Keane will find himself on the wish-list of the Premier League’s biggest clubs this summer, but the Burnley defender remains fully focused on the Clarets. The centre-back recently made his England debut and now £25m is being touted around by the newspapers for clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea to secure his services.

Paper Round’s view: All this felt inevitable. Clubs of Burnley’s stature seldom hold onto their bigger players, particularly when such figures come to the fore. It would help Burnley secure a longer-term future in the top-tier by strengthening their squad, though it would come at the loss of one of the league’s standout defenders this campaign. It’s no secret that United and Chelsea will look to strengthen at the back this summer. Virgil van Dijk will be the wanted man, but Keane won’t be far behind.

PSG attracts Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe has been linked with clubs all over Europe, but now the Mirror are reporting that PSG are favourites to land the Monaco striker after he admitted they are an “attractive club”. The teenage sensation has flourished for Monaco this season, but a recent loss to PSG in the cup final means Mbappe has realised who the real giants of Ligue 1 are.

Paper Round’s view: Monaco have got a good thing going on, and this will be a tricky summer for the club as they look to hold onto their prize possessions. They will be desperate to keep Mbappe, but there’ll be talk of big money moves come the end of the season. He would benefit from staying, but you wouldn’t blame him for taking on a greater challenge.
