JOHOR BAHRU, July 11 (Bernama) –Investigations into the death of a tahfiz (religious school) student here in April are still ongoing so long as the deputy public prosecutor (DPP) has not arrived at a decision.
Newly-appointed CID chief SAC Azman Ayob said the decision to close the case was subject to the DPP’s recommendations.
“We are now waiting for the post-mortem report. After that, we will take it to the DPP to seek his advice,” he told a press conference here today, following his appointment…..
