Wayne Rooney is ‘the real G.O.A.T!’: Fans laud striker after 200th Premier League goal
Wayne Rooney has joined a very exclusive club.
The Everton striker’s opening goal against Manchester City on Monday night was the 200th Premier League goal of his incredible career.
And that feat makes him a member of the Premier League’s 200 club – alongside just one other player, Alan Shearer.
It’s a remarkable achievement and there was a rush to laud the veteran forward even as goalkeeper Ederson was still stooping to pick the ball out of his own net.
