It was one of the worst-kept secrets in football in the two days leading up to the deal, but Arsene Wenger finally signed a new two-year contract with Arsenal.

The club announced it and, after a topsy-turvy season in which the Gunners missed out on the Champions League for the first time under the Frenchman but then won the FA Cup, there was a mixed reaction.
