JAKARTA, March 10 (Bernama) — Malaysia and Indonesia plan to jointly develop areas along their common border by undertaking economic development projects.

Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia, Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohamed Hashim, said Malaysia was interested to develop the border areas by undertaking agricultural and industrial projects.

“The embassy here has held preliminary discussions with Indonesia’s Ministry of Village, Disadvantaged Region Development and Transmigration on the proposal and both sides have agreed to set up a joint committee soon…..
