How to play Fantasy Cycling
Now’s the time to build your fantasy team line-up. Just like in any major stage race you’ll need a variety of riders with a range of specialities, so pick:
- 2x General Classification contenders (Marquee Riders)
- 2x Sprinters
- 2x Climbers
- 3x Domestiques
Riders will score points for the following:
- Position in the stage finish (top 20)
- Wearing any Jersey (daily)
- Overall General Classification (points at end of race for finishing position for the top 60)
- Final podium for all jerseys (excluding GC)
You are free to make unlimited changes to your line-up prior to the start of the race. Once the race starts you can make three transfers up until Stage 15.
Registration will close at the end of Stage 7.
Create a league to challenge your friends
Any race is better when there is competition involved, so why not create a league, invite your friends and challenge them to beat your score.
It’ll be a case of jostling for position near the front of the peloton… just like Chris Froome and company.
The Fantasy Cycling prizes
It’s the taking part that counts… but there are also some terrific prizes up for grabs.
The winner of the Cycling Fantasy game will receive the perfect package to watch the biggest events in sport:
An iPad, an Apple TV AND a Eurosport Player pass.
The rest of the top five will all receive a much-coveted Eurosport Player yearly subscription.
How to playing Cycling Predictor
Select your top three for every single stage of the race to Paris.
Predictions can be made at any time before the start of the stage.
Points will be accrued for:
- Correctly predicting a rider’s position in the top three (2 points)
- Correctly predicting a rider being in the top three, but not the correct position (1 point)
- Correctly predicting a stage winner (1 point)
The Cycling Predictor prizes
There’s some terrific merch up for grabs if you beat the competition to victory in the Cycling Predictor game.
The winner will receive a swag bag of classy Eurosport stash, containing:
A backpack, yellow cap, armband and headphones.
