General : Johor Elects Special Officer To Health Minister As Senator

ISKANDAR PUTERI, May 15 (Bernama) — Zahari Sarip, special officer to the Health Minister, has been elected by the Johor State Legislative Assembly to be a senator.

Zahari, 50, was proposed for the post, for a term of three years, by Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin and seconded by State Housing and Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Md Jais Sarday.
