KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 17 (Bernama) — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said he was saddened by the innocent lives lost in the suicide attack in Pakistan on Feb 16.
He said the incident was yet another reminder that terror had no borders.
“We must be vigilant and united in our response,” he said on his Twitter account, today.
It was reported that Thursday’s attack at Pakistan’s packed Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in the southern city of Sehwan in Sindh province, killed at least 60 people and wounded 250 others.
According to CNN, the Islamic State Khorasan, ISIS’ affiliate in Afghanistan and Pakistan had claimed responsibility for the attack.
