Apparently Mannarino once shoved a ballboy and said that tennis didn’t need them, whereas it did need players. Nice chap! Quickly he goes 0-30 behind, but is hitting the ball reasonably well – he came from 2-1-down to beat Monfils in the last round, so that’s no great surprise. It doesn’t matter, though – after an ace, he finds nowhere to hit the ball that Djokovic isn’t already, and is broken to 15.
