In a topsy turvy match the Briton took the first set 6-1, only to lose the second by the same score. However, she battled back to clinch the decider 6-4.
Earlier in the day she had beaten Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-4 6-3 and will now face Caroline Wozniacki for a place in the final.
