But then a tentative jab lets Halep pass her … break-point, saved with a huge forehand! Konta then sends yergirl from side to side, eventually punishing another<\/em> forehand winner but we end up back at deuce. Konta then earns herself anther advantage, but Halep dominates the next rally, opening a passage to the net and a forehand into the corner. What a match this is! What competitors these two are! But Konta, after snaffling advantage again, nets an unnecessary drop-shot; she was right there, in position to hit the ball extremely hard.
