{"id":399483,"date":"2017-09-13T18:25:00","date_gmt":"2017-09-13T10:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2017\/09\/13\/uk-ee-5-a-month-tariff-apple-watch-series-3\/"},"modified":"2017-09-13T18:25:00","modified_gmt":"2017-09-13T10:25:00","slug":"uk-network-ee-will-offer-5-a-month-cellular-tariff-for-lte-capable-apple-watch-series-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/asmawisham\/uk-network-ee-will-offer-5-a-month-cellular-tariff-for-lte-capable-apple-watch-series-3\/","title":{"rendered":"UK Network EE Will Offer \u00a35 a Month Cellular Tariff for LTE-Capable Apple Watch Series 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EE will be the exclusive mobile network in the U.K. to offer a tariff for the new LTE-capable Apple Watch Series 3 when it begins shipping later this month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2017\/09\/12\/new-apple-watch-series-3\/\">Announced at Apple&#8217;s media event<\/a> on Tuesday, the latest version of the smartwatch contains an eSIM that can connect to a 4G LTE network so users can make and receive calls on their wrist, while watchOS apps can make use of the mobile data connection while untethered from an iPhone.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.macrumors.com\/article-new\/2017\/09\/splashyapplewatchseries3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"356\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-588157\"\/><br \/>According to the <em>BBC<\/em>&#8216;s Dave Lee, the EE tariff for the Apple Watch Series 3 will be \u00a35 per month for existing EE iPhone contract holders, with the calling function on the watch using the same number as the owner&#8217;s phone.<\/p>\n<p>EE customers will be able to sign up for the new tariff when the Series 3 Apple Watch becomes available for pre-order on September 15, costing \u00a3399 with cellular connectivity and \u00a3329 without.
