The Blues boss saw his team warm up for their tricky trip to the Spanish capital on Wednesday with a 4-0 Premier League win at the bet365 Stadium.<\/p>\n
A hat-trick from Alvaro Morata<\/a> and another goal by Pedro sealed a fifth victory in six matches domestically and Conte’s attention now turns to Europe in preparation for Chelsea’s second match in Group C.<\/p>\n He said: “It wasn’t easy despite the 4-0 result. We must be pleased and satisfied. Now it’s important to rest well and prepare for another game against Atletico Madrid.<\/p>\n “We have to prepare in the right way for this tough game. In the last few years they’ve been strong in the Champions League, reaching two finals.<\/p>\n “But we are in good shape. We are rotating and the answer from my players is positive. We will be ready.”<\/p>\n Morata and Pedro capitalised on defensive mistakes to put Chelsea in control heading into half-time before Morata rounded off the win in the final quarterof an hour.<\/p>\n Stoke manager Mark Hughes<\/a> felt the score was harsh on his side and reflected on a tricky start to the season at home which has also seen fixtures against Manchester United<\/a> and Arsenal<\/a>.<\/p>\n “We made too many mistakes against a team who can exploit that, but t hey will be delighted with a 4-0 scoreline and it has flattered them somewhat,” said Hughes.<\/p>\n “We have had a tricky start in terms of fixtures but I think we have done okay.
