{"id":406633,"date":"2017-09-25T20:25:43","date_gmt":"2017-09-25T12:25:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/people.utm.my\/asmawisham\/business-rm5-5-billion-selangor-bio-bay-project-launched\/"},"modified":"2017-09-25T20:25:43","modified_gmt":"2017-09-25T12:25:43","slug":"business-rm5-5-billion-selangor-bio-bay-project-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/asmawisham\/business-rm5-5-billion-selangor-bio-bay-project-launched\/","title":{"rendered":"Business : RM5.5 Billion Selangor Bio Bay Project Launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span id=\"newsPic2\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/newsdata2.bernama.com\/bernama\/newspic\/bu\/centralspec.jpg\" border=\"1\" width=\"300\"\/><br \/><\/span>KLANG, Sept 25 (Bernama) &#8212; Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd (CSSB) has launched the Selangor Bio Bay (SBB) mixed-development project in Pulau Indah.<\/p>\n<p>Launched by Selangor Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali on Sunday, the RM5.5 billion project is sprawled over a 433-hectare area and will be built in three phases &#8211; Precint 1, 2 and 3, over a span of 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>The SBB project will comprise a biotechnology research and development centre, commercial and industrial zones, residential units and recreational areas, among other developments.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, CSSB Chief Executive Officer, Mahmud Abbas, said the SBB project would become the only bio bay centre in Asia to be fully equipped with industrial, residential and recreational infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It offers far more advantages compared to the two other bio bay centres in China and India.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"newsPic3\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/newsdata2.bernama.com\/bernama\/newspic\/bu\/central%20spectrum.jpg\" border=\"1\" class=\"\" width=\"150\"\/><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In fact, we have received a number of positive feedback from international biotechnology companies which have expressed interest to begin their operations in the SBB,&#8221; he said, adding that the project would be open for sale by early next year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; BERNAMA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KLANG, Sept 25 (Bernama) &#8212; Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd (CSSB) has launched the Selangor Bio Bay (SBB) mixed-development project in Pulau Indah.
