Tap it to pin the note to the top of the list of notes.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.macrumors.com\/article-new\/2017\/08\/ios11notespinned.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"455\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-585286\"\/><\/li>\n<p><\/ol>\n<h2>How to Pin a Note in macOS High Sierra<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<ol><\/p>\n<li>Open the Notes app.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>On the left of the app, there&#8217;s a bar that lists all of the notes in a particular folder.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>With the trackpad, swipe right on one of the notes to bring up an orange push pin icon.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.macrumors.com\/article-new\/2017\/08\/pinningnoteshighsierra-800x144.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"144\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-585279\"\/><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>To pin the note, click on the push pin.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>The note will now be listed at the top of the app in a new &#8220;Pinned&#8221; section.<\/li>\n<p><\/ol>\n<h2>How to Add a Table to a Note in iOS 11<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<ol><\/p>\n<li>Open the Notes app.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Open an existing note or create a new one.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>On the keyboard in the Notes app, tap the icon on the left side of the app that looks like a set of boxes. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.macrumors.com\/article-new\/2017\/08\/ios11notestablebutton-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-585287\"\/><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>This adds a table to the note.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>To add more columns or rows, tap on the little gray bar next to an active row or column.
