Wow, I can’t believe that we’re already in Week 4?! Time flies really fast. Alhamdulillah, I am pretty much happy at where I am now. I can keep up with the workload. I CAN keep up simply because I WANT to keep up. Personally, as an academic staff, you should have this kind of quality in you. Oh no, no. Don’t get me wrong. I am not saying that I am good. I think we shouldn’t have any excuse when it comes to fulfilling your responsibilities and promises. You need to be able to differentiate; when is the time to work diligently and effectively and when to play real hard (play here means spend slightly more than an hour at a restaurant in Taman U or Mak Jah cafe, HAHAHA). Time management is key. I am one of those who dislike to spend my time doing things that are not urgent. I’d rather focus on my to do list on that particular day/week, sit on it and make sure everything on the checklist is checked and dusted. This is the only way to be proactive and productive.
And also, I know I have to get things done as soon as I can because I have another passion to pursue. I love interior design, decorating home, and so on. Doing this requires planning. Hence, all the more reasons why I want to do my hakiki work as honest as I can because I do not want to catch myself doing other things during office hours! I need to settle all the works during the day too because I don’t fancy bringing work home with me. Night time is quality time with my children as well as my spouse and also my me-time! I better stop here. Catch up later in the next post!
