{"id":4599,"date":"2018-10-04T12:33:37","date_gmt":"2018-10-04T04:33:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/people.utm.my\/azlans\/?p=4599"},"modified":"2018-10-04T12:33:37","modified_gmt":"2018-10-04T04:33:37","slug":"it-all-starts-with-nescafeutm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/azlans\/it-all-starts-with-nescafeutm\/","title":{"rendered":"It all starts with Nescafe@UTM !!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<p class=\"entry-meta\">October 1, 2018\u00a0by\u00a0<span class=\"entry-author\"><a class=\"entry-author-link\" href=\"https:\/\/news.utm.my\/author\/mnorisham-rosdi\/\" rel=\"author\"><span class=\"entry-author-name\">Mohamad Norisham Mohamad Rosdi<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>JOHOR BAHRU, 18 Sept. \u2013 Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) staff, students and residents in Johor Bahru campus now have a new place to refresh and rejuvenate as Nescafe @ UTM is launched at Arkib Lestari today.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-37037 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/news.utm.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Webp.net-resizeimage-6-551x367.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"551\" height=\"367\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The launching of the Nescafe @ UTM also means the launching of a new drink \u2013 the MyUTM drink.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The opening ceremony was graced by the attendance of Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development), Prof. Dr. Azlan bin Abdul Rahman and the Director of UTM Centre For Student Innovation &amp; Technology Entrepreneurship (UTM XCITE), Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohd Zaidi Abd Rozan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to make the university more vibrant, and the university needs more programs like this to spruce up the educational environment and make it more happening,\u201d said Prof. Dr Azlan.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-37038 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/news.utm.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Webp.net-resizeimage-4-551x383.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"626\" height=\"435\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Nescafe @ UTM is wholly run by eleven UTM students from various backgrounds, who are passionate about bringing you coffee that will leave you energised for your studies and daily life.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-37039 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/news.utm.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Webp.net-resizeimage-3-551x367.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"621\" height=\"413\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Programme Director of Nescafe @ UTM and also a student from Faculty of Engineering, Bryan Chua Seck How said, he joined the programme to learn more about entrepreneurship and to bring more colours to the university.<\/p>\n<p>The launching of Nescafe @ UTM is part of Nesface Youth Entrepreneurship programme, where 12 other universities are competing against UTM.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-37036 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/news.utm.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Webp.net-resizeimage-551x367.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"327\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The judging criteria will be based on the sales, marketing strategies and the innovation of bringing a new drink \u2013 Signature drink that will be launched around the end of October.<\/p>\n<p>Nescafe @ UTM is open on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 1, 2018\u00a0by\u00a0Mohamad Norisham Mohamad Rosdi JOHOR BAHRU, 18 Sept. \u2013 Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) staff, students and residents in Johor Bahru campus now have a new place to refresh and rejuvenate as Nescafe @ UTM is launched at Arkib Lestari today.
