Prof. Dr. Mohd Hafiz Dzarfan Bin Othman received MASS Young Researcher Award 2018 for his research on \u201cAdvanced Ceramic Materials for Membrane and Fuel Cell Technologies\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile Dr. Mukhlis bin A Rahman was given MASS Young Researcher Special Award 2018 for his research on \u201cPhase Inversion and Sintering Technique, Ceramic Membrane and Crystalline Materials\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>They were awarded at the 30th Regional Conference on Solid State Science and Technology which was organized by MASS and the Islamic Science University Malaysia (USIM), here, today.<\/p>\n<p>The Malaysian Solid State Science &amp; Technology Society (MASS) Young Researcher Award 2018 is given once in two years.<\/p>\n<p>The award is to recognize and reward the young researchers whose research are in solid state field, working in solid state science and technology, have outstanding achievements and contributions in solid state science and technology and must be below 40 years old.<\/p>\n<p>UTM wishes congratulations\u00a0on the achievements!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38593\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-38593 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/news.utm.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/WhatsApp-Image-2018-11-19-at-3.53.18-PM-551x413.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"551\" height=\"413\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Assoc.
