JOHOR BAHRU, 14 Nov. \u2013 CONGRATULATIONS to the 11 members from Institute of Human Centered Engineering (iHumEn; previously known as IHCE) who have been certified by the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) as Certified Trainers.<\/p>\n

\nThe 11 Members are:<\/p>\n

    Dr. Kamarulafizam Ismail<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Dr. Saravana Kumar Jaganathan<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Dr. Hau Yuan Wen<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  7. \n

    Dr. Syafiqah Saidin<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  8. \n

    Dr. Aizreena Azaman<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  9. \n

    Dr. Ajune Wanis Ismail<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    \nA \u2018Train The Trainer\u2019 (TTT) course was conducted from 15 to 19 July 2018 at CICT UTM Johor Bahru. The course was co-organized by the Media and Game Innovation Centre of Excellence (MaGICX), German-Malaysia Institute (GMI) and UTM School of Professional and Continuing Education (UTMSPACE). During this course, the trainers were groomed with 5 modules namely:<\/p>\n

      Plan Adult Learning<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Design Competency Based Training Programme<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      Conduct Competency Based Training Programme<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    5. \n

      Assess Participant\u2019s Competence<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \nSeveral courses have been drafted out to be offered by iHumEn in this coming future. They are:<\/p>\n

        Professional Diploma Programs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      2. \n

        Verilog & FPGA Training Course<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      3. \n

        Anti-Microbial Training Course<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      4. \n

        Biomedical Scaffold Production Training Course<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      5. \n

        Fluid Dynamic Interaction Simulation Training Course<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      6. \n

        Virtual and Augmented Reality Environment Training Course<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      7. \n

        Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Training Course<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \nThose courses were designed to address the technology gap in universities and industries with the direction of Industrial Revolution 4.0. (IR 4.0). With the offering of this courses, UTM will be a referral university of such technologies in the ASEAN region.<\/p>\n
