This in turn will ensure that all our English courses are moving towards having an ecosystem by which the English Language Teaching syllabus, Teaching and Learning activities and assessments are all based on CEFR.\u00a0 Fifteen lecturers from the faculty accompanied by two secretariats and a technician attended this workshop.<\/p>\n<p>The specific objectives of the workshop were to draft the Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) based on the CEFR description, to determine the assessment for ULAB-CEFR courses, to prepare the Course Information (CI) for ULAB-CEFR courses and also to identify suitable modules to be used in the courses.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop which was held from 9am until 5.15pm comprises three teams representing three levels; Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_41072\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-41072\" src=\"https:\/\/news.utm.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG-20190217-WA0033-551x310.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"551\" height=\"310\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">The participants and secretariats at the workshop<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>February 21, 2019\u00a0by\u00a0Hanita Hassan On Saturday, 16th February 2019, Language Academy, FSSH has organized an English Improvement\u00a0 Phase 2 workshop at Pulai Springs Resort, Skudai Johor Bahru in order to align all English courses with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
