My research focuses on the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Web Technology, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence, with applications in education, healthcare, digital transformation, and user-centered design.

I am passionate about designing intelligent and accessible systems, particularly those that empower marginalized communities, improve usability, and leverage data-driven insights.

With over 120 total publications to my name, including more than 70 indexed in ISI and Scopus, I have proudly supervised 13 PhD students and 11 Master’s students throughout my academic journey. My research endeavors have attracted over RM 2 million in total funding, with RM 1.2 million secured as the Principal Investigator. I have contributed to more than 20 research grants, serving as both Principal Investigator and team member, and fostered 6 international collaborations through Memorandums of Understanding. With 30 years of experience in academia, my work is reflected in various H-Index scores, including 16 on Google Scholar, 9 on Scopus, 6 on Web of Science, and 12 on ResearchGate. I have authored 21 expert and technical reports, developed 1 policy paper, crafted 3 teaching modules, presented over 40 conference papers, and held 14 roles on international committees.
