Industry & Technical visit to MRT Corp for RTS Link Johor Bahru – Singapore project. This visit was initiate by FKA Research Manager with involvement of Geotechnic & Transportation academic staffs together with Master students in Transportation program.
The RTS Link Project is a railway shuttle link approximately 4km length with two stations, one in Bukit Chagar, Johor Bahru, Malaysia and one in Woodlands, Singapore.
The link will be a modern Light Rail Transit (LRT) system that will provide high volume, fast and efficient transportation system between the two stations.
Many engineering elements were explained by the project manger, especially in term of construction materials & construction technique.
