On the 10th of October 2023, an international colloquium and collaboration event was held, representing a significant academic gathering. The occasion brought together participants from the Civil Engineering Faculty (CEF) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Tenik Sipil UNHAS, fostering cross-institutional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The colloquium featured a diverse range of perspectives, with 12 accomplished speakers (Geotechnical, Structure, Materials, Water Resources, Coastal Engineering, Transportation, Transport Environment & Hydraulics and Hydrology) presenting their research papers. The venue for this insightful exchange was the Bilik Jamuan CEF at UTM, providing an ideal setting for academic discourse and networking.
In a testament to the international scope of the event, a delegation of 20 individuals from Tenik Sipil UNHAS participated in this engaging gathering. The highlight of the event was a round-table discussion, where both institutions deliberated on future collaborations and projects, paving the way for exciting joint initiatives in the field of civil engineering. This event underscored the value of international collaboration and the potential for impactful future endeavors between these esteemed institutions.
