Federated model<\/h2>\n<p>This is, in essence, a combined Building Information Model that has been compiled by amalgamating several different models into one (or importing one model into another; i.e. \u2018collaborative\u2019 working). For example, an architect can import a structural engineer\u2019s model data into their spatial model.
