Preamble
I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Physics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2010, followed by a Master of Science in Physics in 2012, and subsequently completed my Ph.D. in Science in 2015, specializing in materials with a focus on amorphous glass and nanoparticles. With over eight years of teaching experience at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), I am dedicated to supporting student learning, advancing knowledge and contributing meaningfully to my field of expertise.
Inspiring the Next Generation
Teaching
I find great joy in teaching and strive to create a positive and engaging learning environment for my students. My teaching portfolio includes courses in materials science and physics, blending theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Through international teaching programs and visiting lecturer roles, I have broadened my perspective, which I incorporate into my teaching.
Research
My research focuses on advancing materials science for practical and scientific applications. My work includes the study and development of nanoparticles, amorphous materials, and bioglass. I have had the opportunity to lead several research projects and contribute to numerous others, which I regard as a collaborative effort with my peers and students. I value interdisciplinary collaboration and look forward to continuing my efforts to contribute to the scientific community.
Administrative and Leadership Roles
In addition to my teaching and research responsibilities, I am involved in administrative and leadership roles aimed at improving institutional processes and outcomes. I have contributed to the development of research impact assessment frameworks and worked on initiatives to enhance grant management and strengthen university-industry partnerships.
