Dr. Saleh F. A. Khatib, from Palestine, is a senior lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the Faculty of Management (FM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. He is a research member of the Innovation Economics Research Group (IECON).
The educational journey began in 2010 when he enrolled at Al-Quds Open University in Palestine to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. During his years at the university, he developed a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and business ethics. In 2014, he successfully completed his Bachelor’s degree, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.
Recognizing the importance of specialization in the ever-evolving financial landscape, Dr. Khatib took a significant step forward in his education. In 2018, he pursued a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking from LUTC in Malaysia. With a thirst for knowledge and a desire to contribute to the academic and professional aspects of his field, Saleh embarked on a remarkable academic journey that culminated in a Ph.D. in Finance. In 2022, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His research focused on intricate financial models and their implications for Corporate Finance & Governance. This accomplishment not only showcased his intellectual prowess but also highlighted his commitment to pushing the boundaries of financial knowledge.
Throughout his academic pursuits, Dr. Khatib consistently demonstrated his commitment to excellence. His remarkable academic achievements earned him a place on the dean’s list and garnered recognition from prestigious institutions. He was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for his exceptional academic performance and was also recognized as the best postgraduate student in his field.
