The process started last December 2016 when I am required to submit report to the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia, to apply for Professional Quantity Surveyors qualifications.
On February 2017, I was called for an interview where I need to explained my work experience and my contributions to the industry. Of course, the panel did ask a few technical questions. Alhamdulillah. I managed to pass with flying colours and in April 20th, 2017, I received my certification as Professional Quantity Surveyor that enable me to put PQS after my name.
The application to RISM follow suits and this took place sometime in April 2017. Submitted the form in May, and I was called once again for an interview. This time around organised by RISM. Alhamdulillah, I made it though once again. On 19th May 2017, I received my Diploma from RISM that enables me to use Sr prefix. Alhamdulillah.
