My teaching philosophy centres on instilling an understanding for how knowledge can profoundly transform the student lives. I am committed to create an inclusive and empowering learning environment where students feel valued and my ultimate goal is to equip them with the tools and inspiration not only to improve their own lives but also to become a positive agent of change in the world. I always believe that the nurturing process should not be restricted to just academic development but rather to the personal and character growth. This aspect extends beyond the classroom and highlights the ultimate goal of education. Thus, by providing the necessary guidance and resources to the students through creating a supportive and growth-oriented learning environment, it signifies a commitment to produce potential individuals with good talent and skills.

Through a blend of real-world integration, continuous improvement and personal growth, I strive to achieve these aspirations as an educator. This suits with my teaching slogan of:

“Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders with Heart and Wisdom.”

In applying my teaching philosophy to the methods in the context of teaching business subjects particularly entrepreneurship course, I employ the concept of constructivism which entails in the experiential and action-oriented learning approach. The approach recognized that entrepreneurs learn best by actively engaging with entrepreneurial concepts, problems and real-world situations. By involving students in hands-on activities such as creating business plan, pitching ideas and engaging with entrepreneurs, I ensure they actively engage with the subject matter and foster deep understanding and ability to apply entrepreneurial knowledge in real-life contexts.

The concept of entrepreneurship is about seizing opportunities and creates value through innovation and creation. Therefore, by fostering a classroom environment that encourages autonomy and entrepreneurial thinking, I enable students to make decisions, set goals and find intrinsic motivation to pursue entrepreneurial endeavours.
