I am a bit slow when it comes to using technology thingy.\u00a0 I admit that.\u00a0 But, I am willing to learn and incorporate whatever the latest technology thingy in my teaching practice.\u00a0 It has been more than few semesters that I used elearning quite extensively.\u00a0 I learn how to get Band 5 (Blended learning).\u00a0 It is all about strategising certain things.\u00a0 \u00a0It is a matter of getting used to use elearning.\u00a0 I do admit that.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Why the sudden change?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

After I ended my LI (Latihan Ikhtisas), I set a new goal for my teaching\/class.\u00a0 I want to use new thing per semester. This semester, I have started to use Prezi.<\/a>\u00a0 I even subscribe it for a year.\u00a0 But, it is not enough, I know.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of my colleagues<\/a> encourages me to “be more active” in webometric.\u00a0 Yup.\u00a0 I “left” this webometric thingy more than 3 years and it takes a while to catch up.\u00a0 But, my colleague said “T<\/em><\/span>ry to write one post per day, Dijah.\u00a0 You can do it!<\/em>”\u00a0 She also taught me how to link webpage etc. in my post.\u00a0 But, I am taking a baby step here.\u00a0 Not a major leap.\u00a0 I know my own ability and capability.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She also said that there are other things that I need to catch up now.\u00a0 There are ORCID<\/a>, ResearchGate<\/a>, and so many other things.\u00a0 I was dumbfounded for a minute when she showed me how ORCID works.\u00a0 Looking at my reaction, she gave a small laugh and said “Don’t worry.\u00a0 You will get used to it.\u00a0 I know that you can do it.\u00a0 Don’t rush.\u00a0 One thing at a time<\/em>“.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I felt like crying at that time but I mustered whatever courage that I have as I left her room with new determination.\u00a0 I will try my best to learn and keep myself updated with whatever new thingy.\u00a0 In sha Allah.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
