{"id":1637,"date":"2019-06-23T09:44:20","date_gmt":"2019-06-23T01:44:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/?p=1637"},"modified":"2019-08-04T21:15:15","modified_gmt":"2019-08-04T13:15:15","slug":"poems-that-i-have-to-teach-during-latihan-ikhtisas-and-after","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/poems-that-i-have-to-teach-during-latihan-ikhtisas-and-after\/","title":{"rendered":"Poems that I have to teach during Latihan Ikhtisas (and after)_Part 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">There are several poems that I have to teach while undergoing<a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/what-are-the-impacts-of-latihan-ikhtisas\/\"> Latihan Ikhtisas<\/a>.\u00a0 Two poems for form 1 [<a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/1675-2\/\">Sad I Ams<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/1675-2\/\">News Break<\/a>] and another two poems for form 4 [<a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/poems-that-i-have-to-teach-during-latihan-ikhtisas-and-after_part-2\/\">The Living Photograph<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/poems-that-i-have-to-teach-while-undergoing-latihan-ikhtisas_part-3\/\">The Charge of the Light Brigade<\/a>].\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">For my form 5 tuition class, I teach the students two poems &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/poems-that-i-have-to-teach-during-latihan-ikhtisas_part-4\/\">What has happened to Lulu by Charles Causley<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/my-first-tuition-after-latihan-ikhtisas\/\">A Poison Tree by William Blake.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"post-body-1232105360238006884\" class=\"post-body entry-content\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">I don&#8217;t know how my teaching is effective when I was teaching the form 1 and form 4 students because some students could answer questions related to the poems well whereas some were still struggling.\u00a0 But, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sistemguruonline.my\/2018\/01\/apa-itu-cefr-common-european-framework-reference.html\">CEFR curriculum<\/a>, there will be no poem section in PT3 next year.\u00a0 \u00a0So, let&#8217;s wait and see then.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The implementation of <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/cerf-oh-cerf-what-are-thou\/\">CEFR<\/a> curriculum has its own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freemalaysiatoday.com\/category\/opinion\/2019\/05\/27\/what-the-cefr-is-and-isnt\/\">criticism.<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0Some <a href=\"http:\/\/ejournal.ukm.my\/3l\/article\/view\/24273\">research<\/a> has been done relating to the implementation of CEFR.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are several poems that I have to teach while undergoing Latihan Ikhtisas.\u00a0 Two poems for form 1 [Sad I Ams and News Break] and another two poems for form 4 [The Living Photograph and The Charge of the Light Brigade].\u00a0 For my form 5 tuition class, I teach the students two poems &#8211;
