What are digital materials that you can consider as e-content?<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 This is the question that I ask some of my colleagues.\u00a0 There are variety of answers from them.\u00a0 But, I summarise the examples in the given table below.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Social media<\/td>\nInstagram post e.g. cooking demonstration etc., Facebook post (but you have to make your Facebook public) and such.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Blog<\/td>\npeople.utm.my [e.g. you write instruction that you use for Active Learning<\/a> activity in your class that you share on your personal webpage]<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Document Sharing<\/td>\nGoogle docs, Google forms etc.\u00a0 that you share the link with others<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Collaboration tools<\/td>\nPadlet or Prezi that contains notes and activity that requires students to collaborate with each other.\u00a0 Example: Research Methodology class<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Learning Management System<\/td>\nFlipgrid (Example: Human Development class<\/a>), Acadly<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Gamification<\/td>\nSet of questions that you have created in Quizziz or Kahoot! (examples) that you share with others [You need to set the questions as PUBLIC].\u00a0 Example: Educational Psychology class\u00a0<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)<\/td>\nAny material that you develop with others that you share through online<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
OpenCourse Ware (OCW)<\/td>\nDigital materials that you copyright and share for common usage<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Mobile Apps<\/td>\nI have no idea on this<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Computer-mediated reality<\/td>\nI have no idea on this<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Ops…. I forgot to put examples for Video based learning.\u00a0 Sorry.\u00a0 For video based learning, if you have a video or use video that YOU CREATE yourself for your teaching and learning activities, it would be considered.\u00a0 If you ask your students to create videos and they upload on Youtube (using their own account), it is not counted as video based learning.<\/p>\n

So, this year (2020), I challenge myself to learn one video making\/editing using whatever format (offline or online – I find that offline is a bit trickier).\u00a0 So far, I have tried Moovly, Powtoon, and Biteable.\u00a0 Each has its own unique features.\u00a0 I am just an amateur to review those things.<\/p>\n
