Why should I be bothered?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Since I finished my PhD, I never care too much about how I am being evaluated.\u00a0 But something made me change my view.\u00a0 It is not that I am being calculative now but I am more aware what is going on around me in terms of why certain people act in certain way.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Webometric was introduced more than 5 years ago.\u00a0 But, the award in Citra Karisma on webometric was introduced few years back.\u00a0\u00a0 One of my friends said that bonus marks in ELPPT are important to ensure that you get more than 90% every year.\u00a0 All of these while, I am not that enthusiastic in keeping my <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/elppt-and-webometric\/\">webometric<\/a> active.\u00a0 But after Latihan Ikhtisas, I realise that I am having difficulty to write down my thoughts.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Being one whole year at school made me preoccupied with other things than writing such as creating handouts, worksheets, examples of composition and such which are different from tertiary level of writing.\u00a0 So, I am having this phase of &#8220;reclaiming&#8221; my identity, my roles as a lecturer, not a teacher.\u00a0 This is the hardest part.\u00a0 I am not sure if others who had undergone <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/what-are-the-impacts-of-latihan-ikhtisas\/\">Latihan Ikhtisas<\/a> experienced this.\u00a0 But, I am experiencing it now and it makes me wonder why such thing can happen to me.\u00a0 I am still trying to find out the answer.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Not only that, when I was at school, UTM introduces<a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/what-is-e-content-e-kandungan\/\"> e content<\/a> as one of the categories for bonus marks.\u00a0 I am struggling to adapt to some changes at UTM.\u00a0 Some might say that nothing much has changed within one year, but for me, I perceive it as something new.\u00a0 Is it because I am looking at the changes with a new perspective?\u00a0 Like a short-sighted person who is given corrective glasses, finally I can see things &#8220;clearer&#8221; than before.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since I finished my PhD, I never care too much about how I am being evaluated.\u00a0 But something made me change my view.\u00a0 It is not that I am being calculative now but I am more aware what is going on around me in terms of why certain people act in certain way.\u00a0 Webometric was &hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hadijahjaffri\/elppt-2019-new-evaluation-why-should-i-be-bothered\/\" class=\"more-link\">Continue reading <span class=\"screen-reader-text\">ELPPT 2019: New Evaluation?
