My plan was to take a leave to celebrate my birthday with my family today.\u00a0 But I had few things that I had to settle today so I ended up of not taking a leave.\u00a0 But I had this terrible stomachache because I drank fresh milk before I slept yesterday.\u00a0 It “cleansed” my bowel alright.<\/p>\n

After the MPPU1070 evaluation ended around 10am, I went to the office to submit the evaluation form.\u00a0 On my way, I met Yan.\u00a0 I told her that today is my birthday and she decided to give me a treat.\u00a0 Since it was still early, our plan to eat at the newly renovated Arked Meranti was shifted to SDS.<\/p>\n

I had an embarrassing moment today when one of the waitresses at SDS brought a cake with candles and singing Happy Birthday to me.\u00a0 What!!!!\u00a0 At this age, I feel cringed rather than elated about it.\u00a0 Come on!\u00a0 I am already passed 40 and the last thing I want is to blow candles on my birthday.\u00a0 But I appreciate my colleague who wants to give me a surprise because she knows very well that I am not into that kind of festivities.\u00a0 Thanks for the thought and kind act.\u00a0 She squealed in delight when she saw my cringed face listening to the birthday song sang by the waitress.<\/p>\n

I aim to take a leave next year on my birthday.\u00a0 I need to make a day to unwind from works and whatsnot.<\/p>\n
