I was marking the personality psychology paper<\/a>.\u00a0 I am sad.\u00a0 I thought that they could answer well because they were allowed to bring in notes.\u00a0 Well, apparently, some of them didn’t study well.\u00a0 It can be seen from their answers.\u00a0 A copy -paste answer with lack of articulation.\u00a0 So, I decided to take a break for a few minutes by checking my email.\u00a0 Sengtat has promised me to submit a part of the first chapter of his thesis.\u00a0 I have yet to receive any email from him yet.\u00a0 Sigh.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

As I browse the title and sender of the emails that I received, my eyes caught something.\u00a0 \u00a0“Thank you, Dr Hadijah”.\u00a0 \"\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Jolyn gave me an email to thank me for the best wishes card<\/a> that I gave them yesterday (the first student who did so).\u00a0 I never thought and expected any student to thank me.\u00a0 After all, it is just a card.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But, I want to make difference in my students’ life (in positive ways).\u00a0 Like what my mentors have done for me.\u00a0 For example, Yedullah Kazmi gave me books, pencil and whatsnot.\u00a0 Every time I read the books that he gave me, I always remember the time when I was his student.\u00a0 Even though he used to call me SII (stupid, idiot, ignoramus), but I never sulked or felt bad about it.\u00a0 I consider it as a form of endearment.\u00a0 What a heck!\u00a0 It is not easy to be the chosen one to be called as such.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But, I do believe that we need to invest in relationship.\u00a0 It is quite easy to invest in it using money, but most difficult one is time and concern (care?).\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
