Brief Biodata of Dr. Hafizal Yahaya
Dr. Hafizal Yahaya is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Precision Engineering at Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), University Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. Currently he is an IT Manager since September, 2015. He received his PhD at Kyushu University, Japan since 2011 and he joined as faculty staff at the same year. Previously he was Senior Lecturer at College Science and Technology, UTM CityCampus Kuala Lumpur since 2001.

He was website developer under ICT team in MJIIT from October 2012 to August 2015. In this capacity, he managed to transfer former MJIIT website to new cloud server under UTM JB. He is one of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) team in MJIIT.

His main research interests are in the areas of Thin film growth, Epitaxial growth, Semiconductor nano-structure, Semiconductor based gas sensor, Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS)and Bio-sensor. He has published a number of papers in international journals and conferences. Recently he has focused in the graphene hybrid material with silicon dioxide (SiO2) and MEMS utilizing 3D printing.
Currently he is the member of Advanced Devices and Materials Engineering (ADME) Research Lab, located at level 7 MJIIT Building.
