Submission of Progress Report (PR) for Master Mixed Mode/Master Research/PhD Students

Assalamualaikum and Good Day to all respected Supervisors for Master Mixed Mode/Master Research/PhD Students,

Please be informed that the online submission of Progress Report (PR) is now open for all Master Mixed Mode/Master Research/PhD Students via the GSMS. 
The system is opened from 17 April to 12 May 2016. MANUAL/HARDCOPY SUBMISSION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
All Supervisors are reminded to forward/inform this announcement to their respective students and submit their PR online, latest by 12 May 2015 to avoid the student’s grade becomes Not Satisfactory (TM).
Please note that if the student(s) get TM grade for 2 consecutive semesters, they shall be terminated from the program.

Evaluation of the PR by the respective Supervisors will be opened from 15 to 26 May 2016.
 
Please do not hesitate to contact the following staff at Research and Scholarship Division, SPS if there any issue or problem encountered during the PR submission and PR assessment.

Following the requests from several specialists that are intending to attend
the International Symposium on Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering
(ISFEE 2016) presenting their registered papers, we believe the following
announcement regarding the deadlines postponement will be well received:

– Full paper submission: May 16, 2016
– Notification of acceptance date: June 1, 2016 (for late submissions)
– Final paper submission deadline: June 15, 2016

The Symposium will be hosted by the University Politehnica of Bucharest,
Romania on June 30 – July 2, 2016.

TENCON is a premier international technical conference of IEEE Region 10, which comprises 57 Sections, 6 Councils, 21 Subsections, 514 Chapters and 1159 Student Branches in the Asia Pacific region. The theme for TENCON 2016 is Technologies for Smart Nation and it will be held in Singapore from 22 – 25 November 2016 at Marina Bay Sands.

Organizers are inviting special session proposals within the scope of TENCON 2016. Organizers also invite VOLUNTEERS to serve as reviewers or as track chairs. If you are willing to assist as a special session organizer or track chair or reviewer, please inform us by sending an email to:

Info 1 : Buat pertama kalinya PBAKL 2016 diadakan di MAEP Serdang.

 

Info 2 : PBAKL 2016 diadakan selama 11 hari bermula 29 April hingga 9 Mei 2016.

 

Info 3 : PBAKL 2016 kini berwajah baru dengan berkonsepkan destinasi percutian keluarga! Terdapat pelbagai tarikan di MAEPS seperti SPA Kasih Anana (berasaskan herba & nanas), Lookout Tower (Pemandangan seluruh kawasan MAEPS), Laman Sayur (Sayuran yang segar & hijau), Laman Herba (Terdapat 150 herba & rempah), Laman Padi, ‘Bench’ yang banyak di Street Mall, Kota Buku (terdapat tempat baca & rehat)

 

Info 4 : PBAKL 2016 akan lebih meriah dengan adanya ‘Food Truck’!

 

Info 5 : Masalah parking? Tiada masalah! Terdapat lebih kurang 7000 tempat letak kereta di MAEP Serdang.

 

Info 6 : 2 Zon letak kereta di MAEPS; Zon 1 – Berhampiran/Sekitar Dewan A, C & D. Kadar minimum RM5 per entry, Zon 2 – Zon parking pelawat. Percuma. (Tram disediakan)

Today marks the last day of punching in and punching out of the office for my three lovely sisters that I am going to miss very much 🙁

We went out for lunch today promising to catch up on each other always.

Mira is one of the best marketing officers I have worked with.  It is a pity to let her go.  She has always lots of tips for me when we do marketing together.

Eryn is always ready to help me with my scanning issues and also other office matters that I rarely have to do.  She has just delivered a baby and she looks so slim 🙂

K Yati, the one on the right has been here as long as I remembered.  When I first reported for work at the KL Campus, she was already there.  I will dearly miss her tea ….
