1 : Our first 2015 ICBAPS papers were succesfully indexed in ISI Web of Science, Scopus and IEEEXplore!

2 : Each non-student registrant covers a maximum of two (2) papers per registration.

3 : Selected paper will be invited to publish in extended format  in Scopus Journal under special issue edition.

Expression of Interest Submission Deadline: February 16, 2018

REMINDER: Submit your Expression of Interest no later than February 16, 2018
The IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) is soliciting proposals for the organization of its flagship conference, the International Symposium for Circuits and Systems (ISCAS) for the year 2022. ISCAS 2022 is open to all regions.

At this time, we are soliciting an Expression of Interest.

The Expression of Interest needs to include the following information:

  1. The General Chair name and Key Committee members with their resume and their current or past involvement in CASS leadership and CASS conferences
  2. Sponsoring IEEE OUs and other organizations besides CASS
  3. Lead Contact for local hosts and contact details
  4. Proposed destination and venue
  5. Estimated budget
  6. A letter of commitment from the General Chair to present the proposal in-person at ISCAS 2018 if the letter of intent is accepted
  7. A letter of commitment from local government and industry to pledge financial support to ISCAS 2022 if the letter of intent is accepted
The Expression of Interest may not exceed 3 pages (the General Chair/Key Committee members resumes are not included in the 3-page maximum). Submit the Expression of Interest electronically to Myung Hoon Sunwoo, IEEE CASS Vice President of Conferences, at sunwoo@ajou.ac.kr with a copy to IEEE CASS Administrator, Brittian Parkinson, at manager@ieee-cas.org by February 16, 2018.

Proposers will receive notification by March 3, 2018, if their Expression of Interest is accepted. The accepted proposers will then be invited to submit the final ISCAS bid packet, the final bid submission will be due on April 21, 2018.

All information on ISCAS and the Call for Proposal procedure is outlined in the ISCAS Organizing Guide on the CAS website here. It is very important that you review this guide thoroughly and carefully before submitting your Expression of Interest.

Call for Paper : Malaysian Software Engineering Conference 2018 (MySEC’18)

Dear Professors/ Researchers/ Authors/ Post-doctorate/ Students,

We would like to invite you to submit your papers for the Malaysian Software Engineering Conference 2018 (MySEC’18) to be held from 7 – 9 August 2018 in Kuching, Sarawak. Malaysia.
The theme of the conference is “Transforming Society through Sustainable Digital Economy”. MySEC’18 invited world-class keynote speakers whom are pioneers in their academic and industrial involvements, and they are eager to share their knowledge and expertise.
MySEC’18 aims to provide researchers and professional practitioners a podium to discuss and share their research and experiences in order to generate international research collaborations related to the conference theme or other issues concerning software engineering. The conference has featured keynote talks, workshop, and contributed papers.

Conference Overview

The organising committee of MySEC2018 welcomes you to participate in the next regional software engineering conference in Kuching, Sarawak. For the first time, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) will be the host for the 11th Malaysian Software Engineering Conference (MySEC2018). Initiated by the Malaysian Software Engineering Interest Group (MySEIG), the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology,  in UNIMAS will be organising this event in Kuching, Sarawak from 7-9 August 2018.

Digital economy is developing rapidly worldwide. It is the single most important driver of innovation, competitiveness and growth, and it has been changing business landscape, reshaping the nature of work, the boundaries of enterprises, and the responsibilities of business leaders that affect every life of the society.

  • All payments to be made in favor of UNIMAS Holdings Sdn Bhd
  • A 50% refund will be given if cancellation is received 14 days before the conference starts.
  • No-shows shall be fully charged.

JEMPUTAN UNTUK MENYERTAI THIRD POLICY FORUM OF THE STRENGTH THROUGH DIVERSITY SERIES: LEARNING FROM DATA, OECD HEADQUARTERS PARIS, 12-13 FEBRUARI 2018

2.         Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa Bahagian ini telah menerima sesalinan makluman daripada pihak Suruhanjaya Kebangsaan UNESCO Malaysia (SKUM) berkenaan jemputan untuk menyertai Third Policy Forum of the Strength Through Diversity Series: “Learning from Data” yang akan berlangsung pada 12 – 13 Februari 2018 bertempat di Ibu Pejabat OECD, Paris.

3.         Antara agenda Forum Polisi tersebut adalah:

1.  identify existing data sources on education, migration and displacement;
2.  highlight data and measurement aspects that require urgent attention to improve the understanding of social phenomena;
3.  examine innovative practices in data and measurement to effectively approach aspects of the migration/displacement-education relationship; and
4.  propose recommendations and guidelines on questionnaire items for key areas of interventions in data and measurement tools for the migration/displacement education relationship, including for making progress towards monitoring SDG.
