\n<\/span>The main objective of the ADBIS series of conferences is to provide a forum
\nfor the dissemination of research accomplishments and to promote
\ninteraction and collaboration between the database and information system
\nresearch communities from European countries and the rest of the world.
\nThe ADBIS conferences provide an international platform for the presentation
\nof research on database theory, development of advanced DBMS
\ntechnologies, and their advanced applications.
\n
\n<\/b>The conference will consist of regular sessions with technical contributions
\n(regular papers, short papers) reviewed and selected by an international
\nprogram committee, as well as of invited talks and tutorials presented by
\nleading scientists. The official language of the conference will be English. A
\nDoctoral Consortium and different Workshops will be held in line with the
\nmain conference.<\/p>\n

We invite original papers describing results that broadly belong to both
\ntheory and practice of databases and information systems. The list of

\nPAPER PUBLISHING<\/p>\n

<\/b>ADBIS accepted research papers will be published in a Springer Lecture
\nNotes in Computer Science volume. Papers must not exceed 14 pages in
\nthe LNCS format. For camera-ready papers use Latex or Word style (find
\nhere http:\/\/www.springer.com\/computer\/lncs?SGWID=<\/a>
\n0-164-2-793332-0&changeHeader). The program committee may
\ndecide to accept a submission as a short paper if it reports interesting
\nresults but does not justify publication of a full paper. ADBIS short
\nresearch papers must not exceed 8 pages. The best paper authored solely
\nby students will receive an award. Best papers of the main conference will
\nbe invited for submission in special issues of the ISI-indexed journals
\nInformation Systems (<\/span>http:\/\/www.journals.elsevier.com\/information-systems\/<\/a><\/u><\/span>)
\nand Informatica (<\/span>http:\/\/www.informatica.si\/<\/a><\/u><\/span>).<\/p>\n

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES<\/p>\n

<\/b>\u00b7 Papers must be written in English.
\n\u00b7 Papers must contain previously unpublished work and not be submitted
\nconcurrently to another conference.
\n\u00b7 Papers are submitted using an electronic submissions system, as detailed
\nbelow.
\n\u00b7 An Author of an accepted paper must register to ADBIS 2017 in order to
\nhave the paper published.
\n\u00b7 Accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of the authors.
\n\u00b7 ADBIS papers must be submitted via the EasyChair system:

\n\u00b7 Papers must be submitted as a single PDF document
\n\u00b7 Authors of accepted papers must submit along with the camera-ready
\nversion of their paper a copyright form filled
\n(http:\/\/www.cyprusconferences.org\/adbis2017\/files\/springerform.pdf)<\/a> and
\nsigned. Please note that only authors employed by the EU (as an institution)
\ntick the relevant box. Authors who simply reside or work in an EU country
\nshould not tick this box.<\/p>\n
