Dear Researchers,<\/p>\n

The 2017 Taiwan Fellowship sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) will accept the applications from 1st May to 30th June 2017<\/span><\/span>.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Experts and scholars from Malaysian government, think tanks\/research institutes or universities are encouraged to apply for this fellowship to conduct their researches in Taiwan\u2019s universities, colleges or research institutes between 1st January and 31st December 2018<\/span><\/span>.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The fellowship this year is open to all the research fields. The research subjects related to ROC\u2019s current foreign policy such as Taiwan\u2019s participation in regional economic cooperation, the enhancement of global and regional connectivity, New Southbound Policy and security issues of Asia-Pacific region will be highly recommended.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The duration of the fellowship is from three months to one year up to his\/her research proposal in Taiwan. The fellowship package covers a monthly stipend from NTD 50,000 or NTD 60,000\uff08approximately RM 7,200 or RM 8,600\uff09and a round-trip air ticket between the recipient\u2019s country of residence and Taiwan.<\/div>\n

The applicant is requested to complete the online application on Taiwan Fellowship website (http:\/\/taiwanfellowship.ncl.edu.tw<\/a>) and send his\/her copy of the application form with related documents by post to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia \uff08TECO, Level 7, Menara Yayasan Tun Razak 200, Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur\uff09.<\/div>\n
