We are glad to announce the call for application of\u00a0<b>Master&#8217;s Program and Ph.D Sandwich Program in UTM,\u00a0<\/b>sponsorship\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">by AUN\/SEED.Net<\/span><b><span style=\"font-size: small\">.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: small\">2. Scholarship offer:<\/span><b><span style=\"font-size: small\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">living allowance<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">health insurance<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">relocation fee<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">round-trip air ticket<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">3. The fields of study that can be supported by the AUN\/SEED-Net:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-size: small\">Civil Engineering under Faculty of Civil Engineering<br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-size: small\">Natural Disaster under MJIIT<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small\">4<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">. Eligible applicants must:<\/span><b><span style=\"font-size: small\"><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">Applicants must be young faculty staff of Sending Institutions, or graduating<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0students\/graduates who are strongly motivated to pursue a professional career as faculty staff<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small\">at Sending Institutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">Applicants must be endorsed to apply by Sending Institutions in their home country, which<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0expect them to be faculty staff after graduation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">Applicants must hold a bachelor\u2019s degree in a relevant engineering field, or to complete the<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0bachelor\u2019s degree before starting this degree program.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">Applicants should meet at least one of the following requirements. The supporting documents<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0should be provided.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">Class rank of Bachelor\u2019s Degree must be within top 15 % in their final or most recent year.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0The Certified Letter on Academic Standing (Attachment 3) is required;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) at least 3.0 in the 4-scale grading system or 7.5 in<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0the 10-scale grading system in Bachelor\u2019s degree;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">Outstanding academic achievements with supporting evidence (e.g. awards, publication, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">Applicants must have good English language proficiency to study and carry out independent<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0research. It is strongly recommended to submit a certificate of internationally known English<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0proficiency test.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">Applicants must be under the age of 30 at the time of application.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">Applicants must be in good health conditions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">The scholarships are for Japanese Fiscal Year (JFY) 2018 intake students (1st April 2018 \u2013 31st<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0March 2019). The scholarships cannot be granted to the applicants who:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">have already started their study before the announcement of JFY 2018 scholarship award;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small\">have already been awarded and salaried by other scholarships.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<p>5. Successful applicants must start their study within 1st April 2018 \u2013 31st March 2019.<\/p>\n<p>6.
