Theme of this program is Rethinking Risk-informed Sustainable Development 2021-2020 & Renewing our Commitment to Sendai Framework & Decade of Action. This program is jointly organised with the support of National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) and Malaysia Civil Defence Force (APM) and our expected participants are from public, private, academia, and civil society, including our alumni of Master of Disaster Risk Management (MDRM) and Certified Professional Training (CPT) program.
The objectives of this event are 1) to commemorate a 5-years anniversary of Japanese-Malaysia DRM program with establishment and progress of DPPC and MDRM program, 2) to appreciate all contributions made all relevant partners in Malaysia, Japan and other countries, 3) to acknowledge all alumni (MDRM & DPPC), 4) to assess needs and demands by our actors, stakeholders, and potential collaborators, 5) to increase the global visibility of DPPC and promote our DRR commitment.
